The Mile High City

After a small breath at home, only enough time for a big party with 100 of our closest relatives, and two weeks of family visits, we are on the road again… Well, in the air again, for a week in Colorado. Originally booked for a concert at Red Rocks (where neither of us has been), it has turned into a week of plans that are bound to be family fun! Not only will we see the Yes/Styx concert on Tuesday, we’ll be visiting a dinosaur walk, a butterfly pavilion, Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park and Boulder (with side trips to the Celestial Seasoning factory and the Stanley Hotel, where the wonderful Steven King/Jack Nicholson movie “The Shining” was filmed).
Today we fly from Madison to Denver, buy some groceries, and hang out with the kids and grandkids. During the week, I play web-designer in the mornings, and the afternoons will bring various activities we’ll share here.
And yes, I have not forgotten the unfinished European entries… maybe those will be finished this week as well 😉
